IB Staff Training
 
MHS teachers and staff attend required workshops in both the Middle Years Program and the Diploma Programme before teaching the course(s).
 
Teachers receive training in the following areas: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Visual Arts, Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, CAS, and Heads of School.
International Education Week
 
In honor of International Education Week, the Monterey High School orchestrates a vibrant International Festival every November. This celebration is a joint effort by AFS/International Club, MHS Leadership, students, and faculty from MIIS, and others in the community.
