IB Staff Training |
MHS teachers and staff attend required workshops in both the Middle Years Program and the Diploma Program before teaching the course(s). Teachers receive training in the following areas: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Visual Arts, Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, CAS, and Heads of School.
International Education Week |
In honor of International Education Week, the Monterey High School orchestrates a vibrant International Festival every November. This celebration is a joint effort by AFS/International Club, MHS Leadership, students, and faculty from MIIS, and others in the community. The first event took place on 11/15/16 and was featured in the Monterey Herald, by Claudia Melendez Salinas
